Put Serious Effort Into Your Pre-Game I find most entrepreneurs put all of their effort into creating a perfect deck and then asking existing investors which VCs to talk with but they put almost no effort into the real “pre-game” work. Inevitably your first pitch or two you won’t be on your A-game, which is why you want to take a test drive.
