so compelling (other than the fact that the CEO Sean Rad is a great young technology leader and his advisers – Brian Norgard , Dan Gould and Evan Rifkin - are some of the guys I respect most in the LA tech market.). As John Battelle chronicles in his brilliant (and must read) book, The Search , Google thought this idea stunk.

The only other ways to get discovered was to have good organic search results or to get covered by a major blog site. Page 3: Competition. Tim handled the product management, vision, roadmap and competitive questions like a pro. It seemed that the main discovery mechanism was the “blog roll&# that everybody kept.
