In what is a fairly unusual move, last week, Tradesparq (www.tradesparq.com), a Chinese startup in the area of B2B trade information, said it was planning on setting up its operations here in Southern California, as part of an expansion and scaling of the company. Once you know the space, China really helps entrepreneurs.

They have partnered with Cross Campus to bring education and offline matchmaking events to Santa Monica quarterly. Together they envisioned a Match.com type of site for entrepreneurs to find each other and make things happen. He has noticed a lot of newcomers setting up shop to be opportunistic to entrepreneurs.
