The funding came from its existing investors, Mission Ventures and Okapi Ventures. The company said the new funds will go towards ongoing technology and customer deployment and sales and marketing. The firm's customers include AMC Theatres and Bass Pro Shops.

We caught up with Eric Hovanec, the firm's CEO, and Steve Reich, the firm's SVP of Sales, to hear more about the funding. Eric Hovanec: We're a distribution and revenue platform for specialty lodging providers, including vacation rentals, condominium hotels--anything that isn't a hotel. Our platform allows that.

Adam also had a stint at Mission Ventures, and ran worldwide sales for open source middleware at IBM. I don't have a long sales cycle, because I'm talking to people who have already chosen Jetty. I also worked in sales groups for Websphere, and bootstrapped Webtide--all right in a row.
