I've recently received several emails from people looking for a technical cofounder for their startup. Here's an example of that kind of email. Tech Events / Meetups - In Los Angeles, There are lots of Networking Events in Los Angeles and Southern California that are techie oriented. Ask them about your concept.

I was on the way back to LA from a ski vacation in Switzerland where I decided while sliding down a glacier that if I survived I would start my own advertising agency.
