For our readers who haven't yet heard of your company, what's the idea behind StarGreetz? You've been in more traditional entertainment firms--as an executive in a big studio--why jump to a startup? Did those prior entertainment relationships help to get those celebrities to work with you? At the time, it seemed easy.

The idea is that the app uses the onboard microphone, reads the movie at any point the movie is playing using acoustic finger printing and audio recognition. The irony is that currently both these onetime best in class companies are now in deep trouble. The result is that I, the reader, had no interest in what was being sold in the ad yet I am a consumer in both verticals. This is a great group to solicit ideas for new products/service or changes you are considering. They get you.

Some first-time entrepreneurs mistakenly believe that they are not entrepreneurs because they have never invented anything nor have they come up with a novel idea upon which a company could be built. None of the ventures that I have been involved in have been my idea, nor have I ever invented anything. I am firmly in this camp as well.
