Walmart’s tech incubator in Silicon Valley, Store No 8, has acquired Spatialand , a virtual reality software firm, as its third portfolio company. I spent the last seven years running a company called ScoreBig, a LA-based tech startup in the live entertainment space. This idea actually was initially incubated at Daimler AG, the parent company of Mercedes Benz, and the idea came up in an incubation lab as something that would really disrupt the industry.

Their purchases are limited to restaurants, bars, retail clothing outlets, travel and entertainment. Wildfire was one of the darlings of the fbFund incubator program.
