In 1986 I started an advertising and public relations firm to serve software and hardware companies, which became a marketing consulting business ( www.Allen.com ) when I moved to L.A. A few years ago, my CTO spotted a need that local groups and organizations have in handling RSVPs and registrations for meetings and events.

I always love visiting companies because you can tell so much about the character of the company by spending time in their offices. One of my big disappointments at GRP has been our office space in Los Angeles.

I decided that I was going to consult/advise a few companies and relax for a bit. I setup a nice little home office for myself and started dabbling with a few ideas. I started an incubator/holdings company called Addante and Associates to be the umbrella company for my ideas and consulting projects. So much for resting!
