Los Angeles-based XCast Labs , a provider of voice-over-IP services, is reporting today that it had 48 percent revenue growth in 2009, and now has more than 100,000 users. The firm said it has been profitable since July, and saw growth from IP-PBX, SIP Trunk, residential, and reseller customers. READ MORE>>.

Los Angeles-based XCast Labs is announcing this morning that it has raised $2.7M in a Series A funding round, for the firm's voice-over-IP services. According to XCast, the funding includes an investment by Siemer and Associates, as well as Frontera Capital and the Pasadena Angels.

It seems that every week, a new, Voice-over-IP provider firm surfaces in the market, either providing PBX services, voicemail, or other similar services.
