She also has served at Azalea Health, Ingenious Med, Greenway Health, Equifax, and IBM. The company said Hackney will be based in Atlanta.

RightScale Links Into IBM DB2

Santa Barbara-based cloud computing management software firm RightScale is linking its products into IBM DB2, one of the major enterprise database software packages, the firm said today. RightScale said it will support creating, managing, and automating IBM DB2 Express-C on such services as Amazon EC2.

Truven Health Analtyics , a cloud-based healthcare data provider which has an office in Santa Barbara, has been acquired by IBM Watson Health for $2.6 IBM said that the acquisition will bring more than 8,500 clients to its portfolio. Truven has its headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Truven was backed by Veritas Capital.
