They were very small shcools--he went to Cate, which is inland from Ventura in the Santa Barbara area, and I went to The Thacher School, and we both ended up at the University of Southern California. Form there, we got interest from incubators, angel investors, and venture capital. It''s a big topic.

As you may have gathered from my blog, I’ve spent the last couple of months visiting with companies and incubators. Let me give you a few examples: SwingbySwing Golf created an iPhone/Android app that lets golfers use the GPS in their phone to measure distance to the hole and track statistics. No wonder they just raised $1mm.
