USC Entertainment Technology Center Names CEO


The University of Southern California's Entertainment Technology Center , which is part of the USC School of Cinematic Arts, said this week that it has named a new CEO. USC's ETC sponsors include such firms as Disney, 20th Century Fox, Alcatel-Lucent, Sony Pictures, Tata, Lucasfilm, DTS, and WB. The center--which promotes and runs projects between the entertainment and technology industry--said it has appointed Kenneth S. Williams as CEO and Executive Director of the organization.

The three said the technology was developed at the USC Loker Hydrocarbon Research Institute, led by G. According to the two, they will offer classes in architecture, arts management, business, cinematic arts, communications, medicine and politics for the fall 2011 semester, via the New York Times Knowledge Network.
