Shame about not getting it in legal writing that you owned the original IP. I know he’s smart but you wouldn’t hire a Javascript developer to do your database design – would you? I recently wrote a post on how to get access to VCs and angels where I outlined why lawyers are such an important tool for VC introductions.

We have about 50 political sites using the tool already. The software works on a variety of platforms, including Wordpress, Blogger, Joomla, Drupal, Tumblr, Moveable Type, and we also have a Javascript universal code option, which is raw code you can drop into any template you might be using. I really helped Chris build that business.

How to Identify the Bot You Want to Block Before you can block a bot, you will need to know at least one of two things: the IP address where the bot is coming from or the"User Agent string" that the bot is using. Once youve located the entries that belong to the bot, look for the IP address and the user agent string. Be careful though.
