First up is data from the EC2 m1.large Third place is held by plain Java Servlets running on Caucho''s Resin Servlet container. Only Cake PHP requires more than 100 milliseconds. Starting again with EC2. As before, Raw PHP is also very strong in this test. Again, Raw PHP makes an extremely strong showing.

Startup Founders really need to see these numbers. And I hope you are not running on Cake PHP when you see these numbers. In looking at these numbers, seeing Cake PHP at 500x slower, Ruby-Rails and Django at 50x slower really surprised me. Most startups do not get a chance to move from one framework to another.
