San Diego-based SweetLabs , the startup formerly known as OpenCandy, said today that it has launched a $50,000 contest which will reward web developers for creating desktop applications for its Pokki desktop app environment. SweetLabs launched Pokki in June, aiming at creating smartphone app-like environment on PC desktops.
