Because market is such a broad topic, I’m restricting these lessons to PR marketing (as opposed SEO, SEM, product marketing, etc.). They certainly struggle to find mentors as there is nothing more frustrating than trying to help a company who is afraid to tell you anything. Nobody likes writing re-hashed stories.

You need to be great at something: technology back-end, front-end design, usability, sales, marketing, quantitative analysis, leadership –> whatever.
