Thousand Oaks-based Xirrus is expanding its product line today, saying that it has launched a new, chassis based modular wireless switch. Thousand Oaks-based Xirrus , which develops Wi-Fi networking devices, reported today that it has deployed its Wi-Fi arrays at the Corona-Norco Unified School District. Xirrus appears to have found a strong niche for its products in the education market, having announced a long string of school and school district wins.
