Recently, San Diego-based Rippol (www.rippol.com) launched its web site, a service which uses social networking to help people find and discover interesting videos related to their interests. So is this more social networking, or is this search? Those are buddies of mine from UCSD, and the open source community.

The next major change that we see, is now that they're online, they're becoming more web based, and adding things like rich media. What's the story behind the company--I understand this started at UCSD?
