We build mobile products, not just mobile applications, but products around them. It was the guy we'd outsourced as CEO.

Vizio’s vision was to develop high quality, affordable HDTV’s for a mass market. Later in 2002, Vizio become profitable resulting from a consulting contract with Gateway Computers and the company never looked back. The company brought on retailers Circuit City, Sears and Kmart in 2006 followed by mega retailer Walmart in 2007.

I know that this all seems obvious now with the movements started by Steven Blank ( Four Steps of Epiphany ) with the whole Customer Development processes / Lean Startup movements also popularized by people like Eric Ries. This was 2006 and we were now working on our second company. Back then it seemed foreign. They recorded it.
