One of the more interesting new features is that the site now takes into account social signals. I'm happy to announce the launch of the Los Angeles Tech Content Community. This technology allows us to see what is hot.

Closing a VC fund in 2009/10 is a major achievement in and of itself. Gilt Group is currently the largest private sale web site in US. He was raising money initially in the worst market in a decade (we met in 2008), he’s in his mid-40′s, is doing a mom’s site (he has no kids) and he has a JewFro. Oh, and of course I shoot all of my videos at the ThisWeekIn studios which are located in the Mahalo offices. We talk about all of this in the video.
