Agoura Hills-based TouchCommerce , the provider of customer service software and services, which e-commerce companies use to add live chat and support to their websites, has been acquired by Nuance Communications , Nuance said Thursday. Nuance said it would pay $215M, split between $110M in cash and $85M in stock, with $20M in earn out.

Agoura Hills-based vidoegame maker THQ has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, and is now seeking a buyer, according to the company Wednesday. THQ said that it has entered into an asset purchase agreement with affiliate of Clearlake Capital Group, L.P.

Bankrupt Agoura Hills-based videogame publisher THQ has been chopped up into pieces, and scattered to the winds, after an auction sale of the firm's assets Wednesday. THQ had hoped to sell THQ to Clearlake Capital or another buyer, but apparently found that the separately sold assets would net more than a single buyer.

Agoura Hills-based videogame maker THQ is looking for a buyer, after reporting less-than-stellar results on Monday afternoon. THQ said it has hired an investment banker to help it consider "strategic alternatives", in hopes of raising additional capital to bring a number of titles to market. The firm also reported a net loss of $21.0M.
