Teradyne Buys Mobile Industrial Robots Firm MiR

Teradyne , the developer of automation and test equipment which has a big facility in Agoura Hills, said this week that it has acquired Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR), a Danish company, for $148M, plus up to $124M in earnout. Tipalti Takes On Accounts Payable

Tipalti , a startup with offices in Agoura Hills, said it has launched a new platform which automates the entire, accounts payable workflow for businesses. Tipalti's offices are split between Agoura and Palo Alto. The company said its cloud-based product helps companies handle invoice collection and approval, plus also managed supplier payment operations, tax compliance, global payment remittance, and payment reconciliation with ERP systems.

Estify Raises $6.3M For Auto Body Shop Estimate Software

Agoura Hills-based Estify , a developer of software to help auto body shops creates estimates on repair for auto insurers, has raised $6.3M in a Series A funding, the company disclosed today. The funding came from Romulus Capital along with ff Venture Capital. Estify was founded by Jordan Furniss. Converge Technology Partners Buys BlueChipTek

Converge Technology Partners , the IT technology provider which acquired Agoura Hills-based Key Information Systems in April, said this week that it has acquired another company-- BlueChipTek , a technology solutions provider based in Silicon Valley. In addition to the acquisition of Agoura's Key Information Systems, Converge also acquired Corus360 (Georgia), Northern Micro (Ottawa), and Becker-Carroll (also Ottawa).
