Santa Monica-based Activision Publishing said this morning that its new title, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 , has just topped $1 billion in sales. Activision Publishing, which is a subsidiary of Activision Blizzard, said it took only 16 days for the company to hit the milestone.

Santa Monica-based videogame publisher Activision Blizzard announced this morning that it has launched a brand new, Esports division, which will focus on competitive gaming and growth of esports. Activision titles in the Esports are include StarCraft, World of Warcraft, Heroes of the Storm, HearthStone, and more.
