Just the kind of person I like to meet. :) But I was a bit surprised when he emphasized how hard it had been for them to find a web developer in Los Angeles. Web design typically refers to the process of interface design and graphic design.

Mark Suster , the highly visible venture capitalist blogger at GRP Partners, has invested in UK-based TreeHouse , an online, video-focused site for helping users learn web design and development. Suster, in announcing the deal on his blog, did not say if his firm, GRP Partners, participated in the round. READ MORE>>.

Martin Rushe, the CEO and founder of Selz wrote a blog post announcing the deal. It also offers a $599 per month “Do It For Me” option which will see Selz' own team of developers build a bespoke site to your specifications. A good alternative to BigCommerce with better web design.

It's like WordPress, but instead of blogging, it provides an online community, which is self-hosted. We're trying to build a center-of-mass on the East side, to draw talented developers and designers, to recruit more effectively, and reinvest in the local ecosystem.
