A typical day starts with email, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Yammer checks/updates. Then I check and manage our Google Adwords campaign and check our analytics/stats. Sometimes I make a blog entry. We need to spend some time discussing what you do with the social web. Just found the title of my post. Great posts.

Finally, a lot of people asking me about typos on my blog. And I know that great startups like Yammer are doing well. Blogging has gone through many iterations. I use Wordpress for this blog and it’s great. I like to call it a cross between blogging and Tweeting. In business you spend your life in email.

Google had no clue that they were going to make so much money in sponsored search. Seemic (now a Twitter client) was originally a video blogging platform. Geni.com beget Yammer. We’ve proven that through innovation and experimentation we can do significantly more revenue than we’re getting through Google AdSense.
