Burbank-based Walt Disney Company said today that it has acquired social gaming firm Playdom , in a deal worth $563.2M, plus earn-out of up to $200M. Playdom will remain headquartered in Mountain View, with CEO John Pleasants becoming an Executive Vice President of the Disney Interactive Media Group (DIMG) and General Manager of Playdom.
