How are you different from other startup incubators, etc? It's not entirely exclusive, however.

How is this different than accelerator or incubator? David Carter: There is a lot of misunderstanding on what an incubator is, and what an accelerator is. When I was at Amplify, we had a lot of people wondering what an accelerator was, and how we differentiated from an incubator. That''s why creative people seek out Los Angeles.

Is the idea to have multiple projects as part of the company? We have some great mentors now. Thanks to TechStars, we've got an awesome mentor who's co-habitating with us now, and we're learning something daily from him. It's a casual setupit's not an incubator, it's not an accelerator, and we're not charging anyone for space.

However, on the other hand, some ideas are more sensitive than others especially in the development phase, and an entrepreneur should be careful to disclose the idea only to those in whom he/she has a reasonable level of trust and who are genuinely in a position to help the company.
