Chatsworth-based MRV Communications said today that it has completed the sale of its CES Creative Electronics Systems SA subsidiary, to a group of European private equity firms led by Vinci Capital SA. The firm said that the deal was worth $28.4M.
Chatsworth-based MRV Communications , which manufactures optical networking components, reported Wednesday afternoon that it has executed a definitive agreement with a group of European private equity firms, led by Vinci Capital SA, to sell its Creative Electronic Systems SA.
Chatsworth-based MRV Communications said late Tuesday evening that it has sold its Source Photonics unit to private equity firm Francisco Partners. MRV said that the deal was worth approximately $146M, made up of $113M in cash plus $33M in assumed debt. Source Photonics is a developer of optical communications components.
