Sam & Adam will be joined by Josh Webb who I have worked closely with and who formerly worked at Idealab. We sort of think of ourselves as an “accelerator” who provides strong education & mentorship.

Grant Hosford: I was working at Idealab, for Bill Gross, when I had the idea. Like me, he was a dad, has three kids, and was a Lego Robotics coach for 7 years. These are skills that are being talked about by educators, things such as impulse control, mindfulness, and executive functions in general.

We need to take some risks in education and in innovation in this country so anybody that it trying to break through the traditional mold and try to create a new model ought to be lauded, not attacked. The value of a college education. I am very passionate and on record about the value of education. Education is self discovery.
