The second annual USC Silicon Beach event, hosted by the four professional schools at USC, featured a pitch competition and a conference filled with informational panels and interviews. Sellbot, an e-commerce platform for sellers made by USC graduates Michael and Payam Ahdoot, took home the grand prize of $25,000.

From there, I became the first non-founder employee at an e-commerce startup called BITSource, which was the first electronic software distributor delivering electronic volume software licenses to corporations.
