Stickam , the live video streaming service, announced on its web site Thursday that it would be shutting down its services, effective 11:59PM PST. The Los Angeles-based company said that it "did everything we could to keep this dream alive", but was "sad to have to say goodbye." Stickam had been founded in 2005.

Stickam.com Lands Adam Carolla

Los Angeles-based live video camera streaming firm Stickam.com appears to the beneficiary of CBS Radio's switch of local Los Angeles radio station KLSX-FM to a new format, saying that the company has an exclusive to stream Adam Carolla's live podcasts starting next week. Carolla launched his audio podcast on his own site on February 25th.
