One of my favorite events last year was attending Startup Grind where I got to interview Clayton Christensen, author of The Innovator’s Dilemma. ” We talked about my influences as a younger person and what got me started in technology and entrepreneurship. And so it goes with social networking. It was an online community like CompuServe and eventually started offering people dial-up access to the Internet for a monthly fee. AOL was controlled by one company and the Internet was distributed. Yes, I was doing it when I was a teenager and yes, it was online, too.
