In addition, Web 2.0 was a proliferation of user generated content which created the need for Web 3.0, How cool is that? We love Web 3.0.

The competition was fierce and the winner was…… Airping! Special shout out goes to WeLink who helped organize the after party, and ROAR who came in as a party sponsor. Technologies used: HTML5, python, django, jQuery Mobile, javascript, mysqldb. Up for grabs for first place at this hack was $10k. That is some serious cash!

Journey allows for powerful logic through high-level JavaScript, which is a language that millions of people are already familiar with. Learning simple JavaScript in order to build apps on Journey is however quite feasible. Any competition? Deploying your app to make it available to users is a one-click process.

eCommerce is an enormously competitive search term. The disadvantage is that you can’t install a lot of additional tools that use Javascript. Make it organic. They are an open-source & SaaS provider of eCommerce solutions. They are the fastest growing player in the world in this space. You then need a URL.
