I know this is CRM 101 but I assure you most startups (and VCs) don’t do this or don’t do it well. A’s should be the people who would not only make a perfect investor for you but also those that have the highest probability of your closing them. If they have, it’s unlikely they’ll make a second bet. No matter how tempting it is.
