Agoura Hills-based videogame publisher THQ said today that it has launched a new unit called THQ Partners , which it says will provide "select" developers and publishers with access to its global retail and online publishing network. Agoura Hills-based THQ and El Segundo-based toy maker Mattel said this morning that the two are in a new, multi-year alliance focused on developing and publishing video games based on Mattel's toys. The two said they are already in development on "multiple games", with the first titles to appear in the next holiday season.
