Santa Monica-based Edmunds.com , the online automotive information site, said this morning that it has launched a new iPad application. According to the firm, the free app provides information about new and used cars, pricing information, car reviews, as well as inventory of new cars at local dealerships.

American Express is an example, they were early into this with their Open Forum site, where they are trying to drive engagement, authority, and trust, so they're now starting to look more like a publisher.
