I was the guy in high school who didn’t have to study early to do well on tests and that continued into college. Yet in LA we have hugely successful entrepreneurs who have built big companies like Overture, CitySearch, MySpace, TicketMaster.com, LowerMyBills, Commission Junction, eHarmony and on and on. I hear it all the time.
