El Segundo-based iSuppli announced Thursday that it has acquired UK-based Screen Digest , a firm which provides market research covering film, television, broadband media, mobile media, cinema, home entertainment, TV technology and video games. Screen Digest has over 45 analysts and is based in London.

The acquisition of El Segundo-based iSuppli , worth $95M, has completed, according to acquiring firm IHS Inc. IHS said late Friday that the deal also included Screen Digest, a digital media and technology research company which was recently acquired by iSuppli.

The firm said that it is expecting to more than double its employee base this year, and is running a job fair at the organization to screen applications. The firm has been in a big hiring push this year, having run a similar job fair at its Irvine headquarters in April. The firm said it received more than 600 applications from that job fair.
