Those programs--epitomized by YCombinator in the Bay Area, and TechStars in Boulder, Colorado--attract newly minted entrepreneurs with a mixture of cash and mentoring, and a program which rapidly takes ideas and turns them into viable, executing businesses. Those mentors are not just Bruce and I, although we are full time on this.

We have a number of locations, including one in Santa Monica, one in Pasadena, one in Downtown, and one in El Segundo and the South Bay Area. We do not concentrate on any specific industries, and we're industry agnostic, and we're not focused on any particular industry, whether that be biomed or entertainment.

Entertainment. We started out with our first event at South Bar (in Santa Monica) with about 30 people in attendance. Since out first event we’ve done large parties at high profiled locations such as, The London, SLS (in Beverly Hills), and The Viceroy (in Santa Monica). While at E!, So it grew really fast.

Almost all credited their spouse, or a mentor, in helping them achieve their success. It’s been a fascinating sociology study starting with the first panel of all female executives I heard during a conference on the Santa Monica Pier all the way up until now.
