Deborah Ramo: It's interesting, but my background is actually in the entertainment world. A number of years ago, myself and some of my colleagues in the entertainment industry developed a nonprofit workplace in Hollywood. Eventually, the idea was that the entertainment industry's workforce would reflect our audience.

We do not concentrate on any specific industries, and we're industry agnostic, and we're not focused on any particular industry, whether that be biomed or entertainment. We'd also love to create a venue where we could also send entrepreneurs from LA to Israel, to study or make connections, and network with their counterparts in Israel.

Although many are entertaining, most fail to provide entrepreneurs with a sufficient return on their time investment. Ask For Mentoring. However, greater exposure to studies performed by other, less widely-read persuasion experts would have been appreciated. Drop Everything And Do What Your Boss Asks. Underpromise, Overdeliver.

Almost all credited their spouse, or a mentor, in helping them achieve their success. It’s been a fascinating sociology study starting with the first panel of all female executives I heard during a conference on the Santa Monica Pier all the way up until now. Very inspiring on so many levels. It was truly inspiring.

Who are your mentors, role models? We don’t have mentors at the moment. Students have to register with their matriculation numbers, and supply upon registration, their course of study, faculty, department, mode of entry, year of entry etc. We create a social network for students of the University of Lagos.
