My recommendation to entrepreneurs is to recognize these concerns as an opportunity to make people’s life better, rather than worry and dodge the risk. There are others, like Norton LifeLock , acquired in 2017 by Symantec for $2.3 billion, now providing identity theft services for nearly 80 million users around the globe.

The uninstall was an interesting story--I was working on Norton Desktop at Symantec, and I was in charge of the installation process. Some aspiring entrepreneurs are so desperate for funding, or naïve, that they ignore the obvious signs of scams and rip-offs on the Internet, praying for a windfall. Every computer these days needs a current reputable security product from Symantec, McAfee, or Trend Micro. Viruses and spyware. Marty Zwilling.

I was sitting on the board at LiveOffice, which was funded by Summit Partnres, and was just sold to Symantec two weeks ago. I was actually introduced to the Telesign founders through Summit Partners. One of the partners, Greg Goldfarb, was really excited about Telesign.
