According to the school, it will start by integrating Google Glass into the operating room and emergency department, starting with 10 pairs of Glass for its third and fourth year students. How has the spinout experience from UCI been? People there encourage commercializing research, but, that said, UCI in particular and maybe the area around here is not very primed to do tech startups. It's not like Stanford, where you can just call someone you know at Google.
