Looking to reduce its dependence on Twitter's fickle advertising policy, Los Angeles-based Ad.ly , the Twitter advertising startup backed by Greycroft Partners and GRP Partners, said earlier this week that it has extended its platform to applications and websites. said it has launched a new platform called Ad.ly

The topic is: Betting Your Company On An Internet Platform? However, these platforms could be interesting for prototype and pilot solutions. The other conclusion was that you need to have a migration path from the platform. Must design your application differently to live on top of the platform. It's funny.

And in a world where we increasingly log in to personal web time at late hours or on our mobile phones that’s no longer good enough.

Gilt Group is currently the largest private sale web site in US. Booyah – Develops a location based service platform that pairs the virtual world with mobile gaming. We also talked a lot about Stickybits (who uses the SimpleGeo platform) and Occipital who has the red-hot RedLaser scanning product. Time will tell.
