Long Beach-based Agilon Health, which operates a network of physicians focused on Medicare patients, has set its IPO pricing range, saying it hopes to sell 46,600,000 shares of its common stock at between $20.00 and $23.00 The company's IPO could raise as much as $1.232 billion for the company.

Long Beach-based free conference calling service FreeConferenceCall.com says it is launching itself into the video conferencing market, with a new service called Huddle. According to the company, it will allow the first 10,000 customers of the service to pick their own price for whatever they think the service is worth.

Long Beach-based aesthetic medicine developer Obagi Medical Products , and would-be acquirer Valeant Pharmaceuticals , which is based in Aliso Viejo, said this morning that Valeant has raised its offer to acquire Obagi to $24.00 per share in cash. The move comes a day after Obagi said it received an unsolicited bid of $22.00

While I wish I was going to Long Beach where the actual event is held, I am only able to attend TEDActive in Palm Springs this year. TEDActive is where TEDWannabees like me pay 2/3 the price of the actual TED Conference in Long Beach and hang out with 399 others and watch the event on TV, live. Sound ridiculous?
