Amazon.com said this morning that it has just launched restaurant delivery using its Prime Now app in Los Angeles, in select LA zip codes. Amazon said that the new service makes Los Angeles its third and largest city where it is offering up its restaurant delivery.

Los Angeles-based Squeegy , an on-demand, car wash service, said Wednesday that it has officially launched its service in Los Angeles. The startup, led by Andrew Davis, let users request a car wash from their mobile app, anywhere within Squeegy's service area. Squeegy's on-demand app currently runs only on iOS.

Luxe , the on-demand, luxury valet service, said today that it is expanding its service in Los Angeles with a new "Drive Home" service aimed at drinkers in LA. Luxe did not say when or if it will expand the service to its other, LA areas, which include Santa Monica, Venice, and West LA.

Seattle-based startup Earth Class Mail has landed in Los Angeles, saying Monday that the firm has opened up shop on Santa Monica Boulevard for the firm's Internet mail service. According to Earth Class Mail, the new Los Angeles retail location will also provide onsite package pickup and shipping services.
