Write down the “ what” of your vision, but let go of “ how” it will be achieved; you can’t control the precise manner, form, or timing.

Focus on the ultimate customer, and find a way to improve satisfaction, grow revenue, or cut costs. Write down some target objectives and milestones. Be an advocate for change in your current role.
