HubHaus , a startup which operates an online marketplace which lets people find shared housing with people with similar professional and other interests, has raised $1.4M in a seed funding round, the company disclosed this week. The company currently offers up its service only in San Francisco and Los Angeles.

The funding came from Amplify.LA, Wavemaker 360, PLG Ventures, Adam Miller, David Rogier, the Pasadena Angels, and John Burry.

Pasadena-based Idealab has made another investment in a Twitter-related service, in GoPollGo , which said today that it has launched an online polling service based on Twitter.
