The funding came from Insight Venture Partners. FilmTrack says it has now raised over $40M in total funding. Studio City-based FilmTrack , which develops rights and content management software for the entertainment industry, has raised $10M in a debt funding round, the company said this week. The funding comes fom Wellington Financial and Silicon Valley Bank. FilmTrack's investors include Insight Venture Partners and the Sandberg-Goldenberg Trust. According to the company, its customers now include CBS, HBO, DreamWorks Animation, Endemol, National Geographic, eOne and Miramax.

Studio City-based private equity firm Criterion Capital Partners is the buyer of AOL's distressed Bebo social networking site, AOL confirmed today, after widespread reports that AOL would be selling the firm. The deal is reportedly worth less than $10M, and comes only two years after AOL paid $850M for Bebo. Criterion Capital Partners is headed by Adam Levin. Criterion said the acquisition and financing was led by Levin, in partnership with Paul Abramowitz and Richard Hecker.
