We sat down with Brett Crosby (who founded Urchin Software, the company which became Google Analytics) and Brew Johnson , the co-founders of the company, to learn more about the company and what it's working on. I grew up in Thousand Oaks, went to USC, and we met each other way back in the 90's. in a funding round.

The universities are now more focused on the innovation economy, with schools like USC, UCLA, Caltech, the Claremont Colleges all bringing good people to LA. In the last couple ofyears, we've seen more enterprise technology and software locally here, and software is starting to grow up. Money is something you have to pay back.
