I recently wrote a post on angel financing covering the topic of convertible notes but I realized I was thinking about the issue more from investor perspective and a very narrow topic of how to price the round. I’m a software guy so I’m sure there are cases where building isn’t feasible.

Instead, I found some early, lead investors from the Pasadena Angels, who connected me with the Tech Coast Angels and Maverick Angels. You have to get a lot of angel investors together to get a seed round, and the next round of a couple of million is quite hard as well.
